Currently, the following features are implemented:

| Add /remove terrain : climate zone, relief, vegetation, rivers. |
| Add /remove improvement : farming, mine, platform, fortresses,
outpost, fortification, airbase, harbour and colonies, roads. |
| Improvement are dynamic : they changes with the rules. |

| Change the graphics for Terrain. |
| Add / remove a new level of improvement, or rename it. |

| Load a 256 color bmp storyboard |
| Define the centering, the zoom factor, colors... |
| Save it as a SSS animation (.gfx_unit file) |

| Rules : can be saved separately for sharing between several map |
| Map : the map can be saved separately |
| Scenario : map and rules saved together in one file. |

| Errors and debugging :
| Contrary to civilization, SSS does not stop at the first error and
exit. It tries to load all the graphics. If a file is missing, it is simply
not displayed in the map, but and is listed in the error log for easier
correction. |
